Winter work & updates in Old Perithia & the B&B

During the winter, we have turned all of our lighting to warm LED, added insect nets to all entrance doors (so guests can leave the door windows open at night too), repainted all of the doors and shutters, and have just finished fixing our water tank, with a special protective layer to ensure the water is drinkable, but have also added an extra filter system to provide bottled water to the rooms… and finally, h

The VIllage of Old Perithia on TripAdvisor

Firstly happy new year to all of our guests and the blog faithful. When we began the b&b a few years ago, we got round to setting up a TripAdvisor page for Old Perithia. Mainly to spread the word in the hope it would bring greater interest and possibly also help with bringing the village back to life, but also so we could get some feedback on what people liked about the place – and also what they didn̵

Friday May 1st in Old Perithia

1st May is ‘Labour Day’ on Corfu Island and a public holiday. Apart from the floral decorations that go up on the houses it’s a wonderful time of year for all of the spring flowers, and the village was humming with visitors enjoying the sunshine, wild flowers, and walks around Old Perithia + a lot of eating & drinking at the 5 tavernas. Here are a few photos from yesterday in Old Perithia.
