There’s an abundance of good places to eat in and around Old Perithia, as well as throughout the island. The mountains offer more local cuisine and primarily meat or vegetarian dishes. The coastal towns offer more of an eclectic mix, including fish, and there are some specialist restaurants and tavernas too. Breakfast can be enjoyed each morning on our private terrace, or in the breakfast room on rainy days, or if you get bothered by bugs!? :).

A number of other places to eat are within a short drive or taxi ride away. There’s a good selection as you go down to the coastal villages, with everything from local souvlaki and spit roasted pork, to fresh fish or fancy Italian, usually in the most perfect settings. If you would like some advice please contact us and we’d be happy to tell you about a few of our personal favourites. For fish, we recommend you either stay in the village, as one of the tavernas does an excellent fish on the grill, and there's vegetarian here too, and of course superb freshly gathered mountain food, and succulent meat dishes on the grill. In nearby Acharavi & Kassiopi (within 25 minutes drive) we can also recommend a few places to suit every palate such as Imerolia Fish Taverna (Just outside Kassiopi), Filarayki (Acharavi local Grill House), Chill & Grill (Kassiopi Cheap Eats), The Old School, Tabernaki & Petrino (Kassiopi.) At Agios Stephanos, Eucalyptus & Kochili - the choices are many. There's also one of the island's best homemade ice cream parlours, Ice Dreams, just a short distance away at the turn to New Perithia.
If you are in Corfu town the choice is even greater, so again, please contact us if you’d like some suggestions and ideas, and information ours and our clients favourite places to eat. Amongst our favourites are Salto WIne Bar, Pomo D'Oro, La Cuccina, The Venetian Well, Anthos, Artisti, Rouvas (Local favourite food from the pan, lunch?) Bouganvillia (lunch) Piazza Cafe (for coffee) Plous bookshop for coffee too, and along Liston for the see and be seen coffee shops and bars, by the cricket pitch and Old Fort. Plus, a whole choice of others from inexpensive (popular with locals or only found with local knowledge) to bars and cafe's too. For a more detailed description on any of the above, or to book for you - just ask.
