The Merchant’s House has 4 suites, the main kitchen plus 'The Katói*' all of which have been carefully furnished and decorated to combine tradition with a contemporary standard of comfort. The accommodations consist of 3 suites with double bed in the main bedroom, providing a master bedroom and separate sitting room in each, along with a good size bathroom with shower.
The 4th suite is a garden suite consisting of a single room with a twin beds and good sized bathroom. The upper suites each have high ceilings and raised views across the village, the garden suites lead directly onto the terrace.
'The Katói*' offers guests a breakfast room or for cooking light lunches only. The main kitchen is available for breakfast, lunch... and/or dinner as the Katoi is not set up for extensive cooking & preparation of evening meals.
Using local craftsmen, the properties were constructed, by hand, exactly as they were circa.1650. The suites and 'The Katói' have all been individually decorated, each suite with a Venetian influence including period handmade beds and furniture, and decorated to reflect their past, whilst providing a contemporary twist and an exceptional level of comfort.
Each suite its own private entrance, and harmoniously combines the creature comforts of home with the assured feeling of staying in your own spacious hotel suite.
Breakfast, light lunches and pre dinner drinks can be taken on the private terrace in the garden each day, and there are four/five tavernas within a minute away from your rooms for lunch or dinner.
